Pom-Bear

Kids love them!

Pom-Bear is the delicious potato snack which is ideal for children. Its unique taste and texture give a light and crispy bite which melts in the mouth. And, of course, children love to play with the fun teddy shapes.

Mums love them!

Nowadays we are careful about what we let our children eat. These high quality potato snacks are just the job.

When we talked to parents about savoury snacks their main concern was about artificial additives that are found in some products.

But mums gave Pom-Bear top marks because they contain no artificial flavourings, colours or preservatives and they are also Gluten Free, which is very important for many people.

The other worry, especially for Mums with small children, is the high levels of salt in some savoury snacks. We have listened to their concerns and Pom-Bear now contains substantially less salt than before (in 2006).

We have also improved our recipe to make it better for you. Pom-Bear is now fried in Pure Sunflower Oil which is naturally low in saturated fat.

Why pure sunflower oil?

Sunflower oil is light in taste and appearance, has a high Vitamin E content and is naturally low in saturated fats – the fats that nutritionists agree we should make a conscious effort to lower across our overall diets.

By cooking in sunflower oil, Pom-Bear has further reduced the saturated fat in its potato snack range. Pom-Bear Original, for example, now has only 3% saturated fat (compared to 7% prior to August 2009 and 15% prior to August 2007).
