Where did the name come from?
Many people ask how Penn State Pretzels got their name. They were actually named in tribute to the state of Pennsylvania; America’s Pretzel State, and also the place where our specialist pretzel making equipment originated. We still work very closely with our Pennsylvania supplier developing our technology and extending our capabilities.
Penn State Pretzels were first produced in 1997. The Original Salted recipe was the very first Penn State Pretzel product, and to this day is still a firm favourite with pretzel lovers throughout the UK.
